Cisco 891FSP-K9 позволяет развернуть сети удаленного доступа VPN, выполняет функции межсетевого экрана, поддерживает шифрование DES, AES, 3DES, DMVPN, SSL и передачу данных в сетях VPN с использованием протокола IPsec. Устройство имеет 512 Мб оперативной памяти (максимум 1ГБ), 256 Мб флеш-памяти, 2 порта WAN и 8 портов LAN.
